I am very excited to be the new traveling Art Teacher within the Unified School District of Antigo. It is my first official year of teaching art within a district, although I did teach art to 4K students and before and after school programs through the YMCA of Dodge County last year. My husband and I made the move to Antigo for this job opportunity, and to be closer to our families in Crandon! We are very excited to be here and already feel like it is home. I am very eager to begin the school year and to start making art with our young artists!
I hope to use this blog to highlight what we are doing each month (or more frequently!) and to post any exciting news, projects or collaborations. Please feel free to share, comment or pin anything you like!
I will be posting again soon about our first days of school, but until then, have a happy last couple weeks of summer! (In the meantime, dust off those old thinking caps and get those creative juices flowing! This year is going to be all about getting Art Smart!)
